I mean the people on the table that were far far away! and it wasn't Barry, did you see my attempts at getting a virgin? As for the 2 or 3 coffees they only added up to about 2/3rds of my normal sized mug ~ throughout the rest of the day I ordered them in two's just so I felt like I was drinking something.:D

Shelley, I am curious why you were trying to find a virgin? We all like to do nice things to suprise our husbands but that is definitely going the extra mile.:D.Carol

Yes Carol, I would like to know why as well, and did she manage to find one? also if she did, would she mind finding one for me too.

Nice to see JC exchanging a bit of banter with Tiggertom, just goes to prove that even the more serious members are prone to a bit of banter now and again. Good on ya JC.

It did surprise my husband! I'm normally the last person to go on soft drinks but the cocktails were a little strong compared to English ones so thinning them out with "Virgins" was the way to go!

The virgins in question were Strawberry Daquiris just to clear it up for everyone:D

Your letter brought back memories my friend and I were on a RCI cruise and had been having Strawberry Daquaries non acoholic, we ordered as usual and had to send it back as it didn't taste right, this happened about three times until the bar manager approached us, he explained that he had put in the usual alcohol and more what was the problem ? well we fell about laughing, I never drank anything non acoholic again blame RCL.!!

I for one love them....makes NO differance to me who is who......how many posts......but how many cruises:p.....(that part makes me green with envy though):p

As for posting to gain invites.I had no clue (and NO I am not blonde either) makes NO matter to me ........

I found this site and have enjoyed shareing tips and posting our snaps to allow you all to take a peak at what we have done,I take my claim to fame on here....(for now).as being the only member who has posted snaps etc of the Grand Princess from last July 2009...Baltics Cruise..I bet your all going to take a peak now eh:p.......

All these debates etc makes fun reading sometimes..as that is what a forum is all about ......lets keep things nice and friendly and we hope to meet some of you peeps on the Eclipse 26th Ap.......

You'll notice that, despite fifty nine posts of the subject
cruise.co.uk has done nothing to change the ranking system.

An earlier post of mine -on an entirely different thread
proposed adopting the hierarchical cruise ship management structure
to be found in the early pages of the Berlitz Guide
and I was hoping that such an adaptation may have had a positive effect
but none such has been forthcoming -not that it's a big deal.

One can only assume that cruise.co.uk intends us to shut up, tough this out,
settle down and get on with it. Not that I can blame them! :D

Recent opinion on the matter
certainly seems to have cut down on the number of inane chatty type responses
on the more serious threads.
Maybe private message warnings were sent out, who knows?
