Don't want to start another debate!!

Am going on first ever cruise on Ventura in Novenmber, have read all the t&c's and have no issue with the £1.60 a day. What I was wondering is this also includes the 2 kids (13 & 9) and having read all about the kids activites I am not expecting to see much of them. Do you think it would be sensible to stop the kids auto gratuities and let them tip the people they want to from the kids clubs or just leave it all to auto. As any extra tips we give would only be going to those who serve the adults.....I think this makes sense?
Looking through rest of forum realised this probably not in the best place (not a rant) does anyone know how to move it?

The tipping guidance from P&O covers children aged 12 and over.
I presume that you are on Freedom dining as you mention the £1.60 automatic charge. This is to cover the waiters in the restaurant only and only applies to freedom as you may have different waiters each day. The total recommended by P&O is £3.10 per person perday for your cabin steward and waiters, i.e £1.50 for your cabin steward and £1.60 for your waiters. See this link

Cheers, just had a read through, no mention anywhere about people running kids clubs, so guess I'll just have to do this separately. As the major part of me having a great holiday is the kids having a great holiday aswell. I know they'll still get served by the waiters and cabin steward but I'm sure that the major influence on them having a great time will be the activities and fun they have in the clubs.
