    Question Cruise Dot Pricing (gratuities)

Did a pricing inquiry via the red box on the right, prices (for Equinox) came back stating they included gratuities, don't think this has always been the case - have Cruse Dot made a change to pricing policy? perhaps in response to a couple of the gratuity threads on here?
pleasant change to see an 'all in' price quoted

off to do some research, other lines on Cruise Dot and other TAs
it appears that grats are included in prices for RCI and Celebrity on Cruise Dot - maybe I never noticed before

We recently booked with cruise.com and were given the option to pre pay or not pre pay gratuities.

If you opt for any time dining then pre paying gratuities is mandatory.

I have seen offers from time to time from various T/Agents where they give a price and state grats included - as a bonus/selling incentive. Rather than OBC or free parking.

The option to prepay has been around for awhile, think it started in 2009, but yes mandatory if you opt for anytime dining, as with most other cruise lines.

Being given the option to pay grats in advance is not new and does not mean 'grats included' does it?

As others, think that this may be linked to anytime dining. We travel with Celebrity mostly and and soon as we had a change and started booking 'anytime/flexible' we were charged an 'all in' price.
