Topic: Why do bad mannered people cruise? -

We have just finished a lovely cruise on Aurora, and the staff were great but some of the passengers were the worst mannered people ever.

The new do's for cruising are apparently

a. Push into the lift before the people in it can get out
b. Take a baby in a nappy and hog a jacuzzi for an hour
c. Totally block the stairs by going up side by side
d. Only have a good chat where it completely blocks everyone
e. Cough and sneeze over everyone parting with as much spit as possible
f. If someone holds a door open sneer at them as if they are complete idiots
g. Call staff by saying "Over here you..."
h. Remember queueing is stupid when you can just push in

It made me ashamed to be British - Hogsthorpe Cruiser

'Cos we've allowed bad manners to proliferate, no discipline in schools, no corporal punishment, not even a smack round the ear. We have now got the society we deserve by voting for the gutless leeches who are only in government for what THEY can get out of it.

Nowadays people seem to forgotten the word RESPECT :mad: you see it in all walks of life and it is very sad :o

I think you have it in a nutshell. However I must admit we never experienced it on our last cruise, we may have just been lucky.

HOGSTHORPE I dont agree with your comments. You state you have had a lovely cruise but why do you feel it necessary to post such remarks. Laugh it off or, in future, if you have a problem with someone tell them or be firm in a polite manner. Why let it spoil your enjoyment or your good memories.

There are rude people in every walk of life, there always has been and always will be.
