    Cunard Smoking policy amended

    Cunard Smoking policy amended

There you go Neil, fill your boots, this should make your day

For all voyages departing on or after 22nd April 2010, smoking will no longer be permitted in the Casinos on board all Cunard liners.
Smoking is allowed in Churchill's Cigar Lounge and designated areas on the open deck, as well as in the staterooms and all private balconies. Smoking will not be permitted in any other area of the ship..

    .
At least the smokers wont have to stand outside in the rain and wind like they do on P&O, unless they want to that is.

Unfortunately smokers still smell of stale smoke: hair, clothes, skin and breath. Most unpleasant to be within a metre of them .

Unbelievable. Why do you feel the need to be so unpleasant? Do you say this kind of thing to people in real life?

That is actually a brave decision by Cunard considering the international mixture of their passengers, particularly the Europeans and Japanese. It would indicate that this really is the way ahead.

Don't worry we can still smoke on balconies and get right up their noses

We are all atheists about most of the gods that humanity has ever believed in. Some of us just go one god further.

OUCH ! Sorry but it's true.

I didn't mean to be unpleasant, each to his own.

    Smells / scents are subjective.

I have a real problem with certain perfumes ~ Channel number 5, poision and quite a few other heavy scents make me gag, standing next to someone wearing them is very unpleasant.

When Poision was "The" perfume to wear many years ago I had real problems and was frequently sick on nights out, now it's Britney that does it for me ~ can't ban it and and lots of people like it, I just have to move, there's always somewhere else to stand.....
