    Queen Mary 2

    Hi,

My family and I are goiing to the USA October 19 on Queen Mary 2 and everyone on this site has told me it is fantastic. We are really excited about this but I wish to know if my four year old will have enough to do. I believe there is something called "The Zone" which is apparently for children. Is there anything else on board apart from the zone which will keep them occupied?

I think you will find the Zone will have plenty to keep a 4 yr. old happy. Have only seen children in the evening with their parents. Talking to them they seem to have varied activities to keep them happy. Also they have a childrens tea time as well.

Thats good news. We can go and do what we want in the morning and pick up our little one for lunch. I don't think we will leave her there all day but enough so that we can do what we want to do. I have looked at the video and books again and I am really impressed by what the QM2 has to offer. It looks like a mighty ship!

The QM2 is not glitzy as you find in the new ships. As an Ocean Liner she gives out an understated elegance. If you like dancing then the Queens Room for you. Beautiful sprung dance floor. Don't forget to go to the planetarium at least once as the seats tilt back as you watch the show from a huge screen above your heads. Have a great holiday. You will be back to the brochures as soon as you get home for your next one.
