    Drinks on Eclipse

Newbie to blog, not to cruising !

Can anyone give me any clues on drink prices on Eclipse - cocktails such as Kiri Royal and the like ?

Off on 23rd July and thinking about pre booking a drink package but at £31 and £39 a day want to be sure I'm going for the right one. The £31 gives you cocktails up to $8 each and the other above.

    Thanks in antisipation

These are taken from the brown leather bound price list you will see in the bars on the ship http://billblyth.co.uk/drinks.html

Brill, thanks so much that answers everything, sounds like the premier package, but will do my sums first to check viability. I'm not a big drinker, but do enjoy a cocktail or glass of bubbles.

The Martini bar has some nice cubicles you can veil yourselves off from the main area, but just before meal times it can be very busy, but we liked the Ensemble lounge and on certain nights of the cruise the Sky Observation lounge becomes an area for playing darts, just to give it that British feel - - - 180 !!

The only thing to remember is that the packages only cover drinks in Bars, Theatre and Dining Room. They do not cover drinks from the Mini Bar nor Room Service orders.

Griefy me, I just checked with Celebrity about the wine packages and they said it includes three bottles - three for £102 in the Captain package. Steep or what, last yeat we paid £226 for twelve bottles. The package is becoming more inviting by the minute.

Yes, their wine packages have never been really enticing, with steep prices and a very limited choice. With the drinks package you can order wine by the glass up to the value involved. I suppose the only pain is having to keep waiting and ordering refils whilst eating your meal.
