    sitting times

will be taking our first cruise this november on the Azura. We have chosen second sitting as a dining preference. What are the actual times of the sittings?

This posting would be better suited to the question/answer facility on the home page.

I don't know the answer myself but I expect you'll get lots of responses there.

If it's the same as all the other P&O ships it will be 18.30 1st sitting and 20.30 2nd sitting.

Enjoy your first cruise, but be careful it's habit forming !! ;)

As already stated 6.30 and 8.30 but may be subject to slight change according to time in port. I think you have made the right choice as 6.30 can make getting ready a bit of a rush if you have had a busy day.

We also like to choose 2nd sitting as after a day out it is nice to come back and relax before getting ready. I once did first sitting with my Aunt but it meant that we only went to afternoon tea on one occasion as it felt too close to dinner. I suppose it made the supper clubs more appealing and you would probably feel more like tackling the midnight buffet but at home we do not usually eat that early so its 8.30 for us..Carol

2nd sitting works for us as well. Plenty of time for a pre dinner drink, and still lots of time to view the show/attend one of the clubs after donner.
