It happens everywhere my family are Danish and my mother has often taken in au pair girls who have come to England to work for families they have been very badly treated poorly feed and worked all hours
some have stayed with my mother for months until they been reallocated a home to work in by the agency or have gone home to Danmark. :D

Jameila, I am not going to comment on the rights/wrongs of this debate. Yes, I have read the article & recognise all the 'attributes' of sensationalist reporting.

I have never to been to Dubai, nor do I wish to, but not because of a newspaper article!

If, as I suspect, you are genuine, you have every right to post on here and express your views, without insult.

Lizzie - when was he/she insulted ? i have read the posts and no one has insulted her/him. Indeed my questioning whether we had yet another thread 'infiltrated' in a quote "spooky" way was far from being insulting - yet his/her response has been deliberately insulting. Indeed, it appears that we now believe that the post is genuine BECAUSE of the nasty response ! How sad.
