I suggested to DW about losing before we go in December. But she she said we've got Christmas as soon as we get back so what's the point.
So wait for the pounds to go on:D

With the price of gas it is cheaper to put a few pounds on to the keep the heat in, rather than put the central heating on. Thats my excuse anyway.
Well the doctors have said to me that sea food is good for you, so I sea(see) food and eat it now,
Yes i go on a strict diet a couple of months before the cruise. Knowing i am going to stuff myself silly. It may not work but it makes me feel better.
8 weeks to xmas and a cruise in january and guess what? on trying on some shirts for the cruise they felt slightly tight. So its 8 weeks of starvation for me.
Think of it as moderating your consumption
and you'll "suffer" a lot less!
The other thing to understand is the body's addiction to carbohydrates.
When you're feeling hunger
you're feeling hunger for carbohydrates.
Cut out the carbs completely for 2 weeks
and lose belly fat first!
Once you can break thru that no-starches hardship (takes about 48 hrs.)
you no longer feel much hunger.
We've learned to nibble on dry-roasted nuts and dried fruit, instead.
Yes, I start my pre-cruise diet when I return from my last cruise. Trouble is I lose interest quickly. However, a light(ish) breakfast and pasta and salad for lunch (sometimes) and miss afternoon tea (occasionally), choose a light option for dinner (you believed me up to that, didn't you?) and if I don't use the lifts and walk a lot on shore, most of my clothes still fit when I get home. Honest! Judith
