Actually its one of 3 I have short listed, due the fact that it offers good value for money compared to what else is on offer.

Yes, its a long way just to do lunch. Would you be interested in a mini cruise?

I'm amazed just had a quick count up and so far there are just over 20 potentially interested couples.

yes mrs B a mini cruise would be great but I would need a lot of notice to arrange my days off and some A/L from work. even if the cruise commenced on a Friday we would have to leave home on the Thurday so I would have to ask for A/L as well and have to make sure that no one else has requested the days, if you know what I mean. we are cruising in May and Dec so a wee weekend cruise would be nice if we can afford it though. :D

I have compiled a list of available short cruises - I have put it on a spreadsheet so here's hoping that it comes out OK for everyone to read.

I have concentrated mainly on Cruises out of Southampton, apart from the last couple which are out of Tilbury.

A lot of the P&O short cruises are sold out in the lower grade categories and looking at the price of the balcony cabins for just 2 nights it make the deal on the 4 night Celebrity cruises look very favourable, especially so as the balconies are on a deal and cheaper than, or same price as the insides. I also thought the 3 night on Grand Princess was quite good. I have highlighted these in yellow.

I have taken prices from various sources on the web, please dont take these as set in stone, they will just give you an idea of the price and dont forget the prices can change.

So the next step would be to make a short list and then get down to the nitty gritty of those seriously interested and then see what deals we can get. Like I posted earlier there are potentially over 20 interested parties.

Delboys post was interesting, so then it will be handover to the experts to see what deal and extras we could get thrown in.
