My Husband and I were booked to go on Carnival for our first cruise last year but was cancelled so we ended up going on Celebrity Constellation which was very good. We went on the Baltic cruise to Russia Scandinavia, Germany. Estonia and Denmark..It was a lovely ship plenty to do and comfortable cabins. It was our first cruise and now we are aware of not spending too much money on another one. Firstly I would not go on the tours they offer, most places with the exception of Russia you can get a bus on the quayside that takes you into the town. Also avoid the 'sales'

they have on the ship. We bought a some small souvenier from the 'sales' and was ripped off. It is much cheaper to buy when you go ashore...Cruises are not cheap but as I said we learnt a lot from the first one and will not go down the tourist route again when we take anothe cruise. The cruise into and out of Sweden and Norway is breathtaking. We loved all the places we stopped at except Russia which was very cold grey and uninviting,,the people all looked so miserable.I thought that today the Russians would have something to smile about at last, but no..Hope you enjoy your cruie...we did.
