    Gay travellers and cruises

Why doesn't Cruises.co.uk feature ANY gay cruises, or have any forum for gay single and partnered potential cruisers?

Some forums have an 'Alternative Cruising' section which would be a good idea here. It could cover a range of specialist interest cruises.

If you mean why don't they advertise them, perhaps it's a matter of demand - I'm sure they'd be happy to take your money. (I'm a vegan but I don't think there are enough of us to fill a ship ;).) If you mean why aren't there any posts or reviews, then perhaps it's because no one has written any - the contributors fill these pages, not Cruise Dot.

Anyone can create a new forum on the web, or start a new thread on this forum. But then you already knew that!

If someone suggested cruises for 'straight couples only' I feel sure the Gays would be the first to jump up and down at such segregation. Why not leave things just as they are and live and let live........Wilba

There are a lot of single gay guys who would love to do a cabin share, but are wary of doing this without prior knowledge.

The US version has a whole Special Interest section, where this sort of thing is discussed and role calls too, so one can meet like minded people on the ship, or decide to book a cruise that has some genial gay people on it.

There are already Gay cruises, run by Atlantis (amongst others) that take Independence of the Seas and Liberty of the Seas but this year has Celebrity Solstice amongst others. I dont really fancy being on a ship with 3500 other gay party guys preferring to meet some nice people on a regular cruise. But single person suppliments are massive, sometimes cheaper to take someone else along than book just for one!
Royal Caribbean are convinced that sole travellers spend less on the ship, forgetting the size of a bar bill for someone trying to meet people!

I know when we did our last cruise in November From Malaga to Miami, there was a freat deal of gays on the ship, it didn't bother me at all, but was really surprised to see so many on the ship,
