Anyone lend me £700 for a couple of months, definately not booking early for next year, not when prices like this come up - mayby it's just this year, and back to normal next.

I think I am going to try to hold my nerve and not book anything for the future but wait and take advantage of some of the great prices that come up last minute. We are on Queen Ellizabeth in Nov and then nothing booked. The biggest problem for me is having nothing to look forward to, I do enjoy counting down the months and then weeks till we sail. Not yet quite retired but our own small business so can be flexible and could go at short notice, so may be worth the gamble..Carol

It can definatly be worth waiting for alast minute deal - and there are always a few around. The only thing with waiting is that there m,ay not be the availability and cabin choice that you would prefer. Alot of the time they are guarantee cabins- so allocated upon arrival!
Which personally; does not bother me at all!

We're doing the same. We have a few cruises booked for this year but also have a large gap in the summer months and are just planning on holding our nerve and seeing if an amazing deal pops up during this period - ideally a 7 nighter to the Fjords. However as we have booked the itineraries we really wanted I am prepared to be flexible on just about anything. I find it really exciting acting on impulse and doing things last minute.
Can't wait to retire so we can go on very last minute cruises. I just hope I can do so with enough money in the bank to feed my habit!!

I'm with you on that one Carol. What an incredible deal! We also have a small business and could be flexible. Our family take over when we go away. I suppose its risky, but I'm willing to give it a go. Carol
