Topic: Quiz SUNDAY This Week

Sorry but there will be no usual Saturday night quiz this week - it will have to be an unusual Sunday one instead :D

Duty calls and I have to stay on duty until 9.00pm tonight - then try and drive home through a carnival parade - whoopee - so definately will not be getting out the nibbles and drinks by 8.30pm tonight .

I hope to see you tomorrow - Sunday - at 8.30pm on this thread and my apologies for not being able to be here tonight.

Sandie, I will do my best but may be entertaining. My son has got engaged to an American girl and her family who are over here to check out Liverpool. They arrived on Tuesday to the most torrential downpour you have ever seen! But loving the UK..Carol

Sorry Sandie, am going to stay with my parents for a week (but promise to help with cooking etc!) so it might be a bit anti-social to do a quiz.

I should be able to do the quiz tomorrow

Sandie, Have been missing for two weeks (due to having guests) but hopefully shall be joining you all tomorrow night (as long as the doorbell stays quiet!!).

Glad it wasn't tonight, as I have been out at the races, I appear to have the same 'talent' for picking horses, as I do for your quiz!

How can anyone spend hours studying form etc... Only to back three non-runners! So I had to choose again & this lovely animal describes those choices.



Only redeemed myself on the last race, so 'down' on the night!

Hope to join you, but have read that 'fastest fingers Cazza' can make it tomorrow night, so I fear history may repeat itself!!
