These cabins were actually originally designed for couples, hence you get a double bed. However NCL changed the marketing of them after a few months of operation and now they are aimed at singles.

I looked at one last year and they are compact, but very 'cute'. There are also 136 of them, so more single cabins than any other ship afloat.

I'd really recommend Epic if you want a 'busy' Las Vegas style week, complete with Vegas style entertainment. (If you want a quiet relaxing week, it's probably the wrong ship!)

NCL's two new ships, Breakaway (April 2013) and Getaway (April 2014) will also both have some Studio cabins too.

Gosh! where would 2 people fit in that cabin - what's between the wall and the bed - 6 inches all round.
