South American Colonial Capitals
Having just returned from this itinary on the Aurora , I can thoroughly reccommenned these ports as a must see , they are truly wonderful, and if you get the opportunity to do this cruise you will see what I mean.CG
Should get Fred's fans flocking.
Outside the Palacio De la Moneda, (Presidential Palace) Santiago
This was almost a pilgrimage for me. The bombing of Moneda Palace by air force jets during General Augusto Pinochet's coup against Salvador Allende's Marxist government in 1973 remains an enduring image of the 20th Century.
Good luck with the sales Robert and to anyone interested, this tour of Santiago is very much a 'ships' excursion, so book early.
