I know what you mean CG. We did it on QM2 two years ago, absolutely amazing itinerary.

Outside the Palacio De la Moneda, (Presidential Palace) Santiago

This was almost a pilgrimage for me. The bombing of Moneda Palace by air force jets during General Augusto Pinochet's coup against Salvador Allende's Marxist government in 1973 remains an enduring image of the 20th Century.

Good luck with the sales Robert and to anyone interested, this tour of Santiago is very much a 'ships' excursion, so book early.
