In my opinion….. it is a very long haul to Caracas and it is quite a dangerous place and holds little interest for me. Very often the port used for this city is La Guajira which is an equally disastrous port of call and only made because it is cheaper for the ships to fill up their tanks. Nowadays there are other POC in that area which are used and which are a much better bet, so stay in them and give Caracas a miss … Neil
