Holland America Debut New PortsHolland America Line will be debuting three new ports in Quebec on its 13, 14 and 15-day cruises to New England and Canada between May and October 2009. Ms Eurodam and Ms Maasdam will be calling at Baie-Comeau, Gaspe and/or Sept-iles in Quebec. The two cruise ships are offering twenty-one Canada and New England cruises which will range from seven to fifteen days in 2009, and departing from Boston, Montreal, Quebec City, New York or Fort Lauderdale. "Gaspe, Baie-Comeau and Sept-iles are fantastic new ports that feature outstanding attractions," said Richard D. Meadows, CTC, executive vice president, marketing, sales and guest programmes. "Our goal is to introduce guests to a wide range of new outdoor activities and cultural experiences on these cruises, whether on a fall foliage cruise or enjoying a summer family vacation." From the port of Gaspe, guests can see the cliffs of Forillon National Park, Bonaventure Island – which has North America’s biggest colony of gannets, as well as Perce Rock National Park where there are opportunities to see blue, humpback, rorqual and fin whales. The port of Sept-iles introduces cruisers to a native Innu community, as well as The Rail and River Tour which takes guests along the Moisie River, known for salmon and beautiful scenery. |
