RCI Announce Eight Ships in Europe 2009

Royal Caribbean has now announced the deployment of eight ships in European waters for 2009.  

- Independence of the Seas will be sailing from Southampton, offering an eleven-night Canary Islands cruise, a four-night short cruise to Cork and fourteen-night cruises to the Mediterranean 

- Navigator of the Seas will be sailing from Rome, Barcelona and the new port of Malaga, offering cruises to the Mediterranean as well as two new five-night cruises; Short French Riviera and Short Riviera Treasures.

- Voyager of the Seas will be departing from Southampton and Barcelona for a seven-night Mediterranean cruise and an eleven-night cruise to Europe, including Portugal and Spain.

- Brilliance of the Seas will be cruising from
Barcelona with a choice of twelve-night itineraries to Greek Islands and Mediterranean Venice, in addition to a twelve night Winter Sun cruise around the Med, including Cyprus, Greece and Egypt 

- Jewel of the Seas will be sailing from Harwich to Scandinavia and Russia, as well as British Isles and Norwegian Fjords cruises for twelve nights.  

- Splendour of the Seas is to sail from Venice for seven-night itineraries to Turkey and the Greek Isles.  

- Vision of the Seas will depart from Copenhagen, Istanbul and Athens, offering a choice of between ten and thirteen night cruises to Northern Europe and the Mediterranean including Malta, Greece and Tunisia. Cruisers can also experience the brand new Holy Land Cruise, stopping at Turkey, Israel, Greece and Egypt 

Finally, Legend of the Seas will sail from Rome for a choice of twelve-night itineraries to Croatia, Greece and Italy.
