New Bacardi Cocktail from Celebrity

Celebrity Cruises’ bar manager, Jesus Gomez has created an original cocktail called Eureka – winning him the respected Bacardi Bartender of the Year award in the third annual Bacardi Cruise Competition. The cocktail includes a combination of fresh basil leaves, white cranberry juice and cucumber. After mixing the basil and cucumber in the bottom of the shaker, Gomex adds the cranberry juice, Bombay Sapphire Gin, Triple Sec and ice.

“We strive to offer outstanding dining and beverage choices to our guests,” said Jacques Van Staden, Celebrity’s Vice President of Food and Beverage Operations. “We know our guests love to experience the unexpected, and Jesus’ recipe does just that.” Gomez has worked for Celebrity Cruises for twelve years and in the next few months Eureka will be available fleet-wide.
