Embarcation was quick and easy, no queuing and taken straight to our stateroom by our lovely attendant.
Disappointed in the quality of the food, no fresh veg to speak of in the restaurant, meals very ordinary and we found much of the meat tough. Sea bass one evening was very good. Agree with those who say that the windjammer was packed out most days, I guess that's an indication of dissatisfaction in the restaurants though. The late dining is far too late, it tended to be 10 ish before we were eating - interestingly when we enquired they insisted that 2nd dining was 8.45. Yeh right!
Ice shows good but difficult to get into, the rest of the shows we saw were so - so.
.
I personally found the parading round of the kitchen staff etc - who tended to be Puerto Ricans or East European quite distasteful. I was told they are paid peanuts and send most of their money home.
Our stateroom I could not fault, loads of storage, big frig lovely balcony and our attendent was lovely.

The luggage strap was removed from my case and never found, they couldn't even provide me with rope to secure it for the home journey.
Disembarking was easy and the new conveyor system in place soon located our cases.
I did enjoy our trip but wouldn't want to be away for more than the 5 days.
Quality of Food2
breakfast/lunch windjammer- dinner nutcracker
Entertainment2
icedancing was fab ,theatre whows were ok, dancing was good but singing not so good. We did however watch an Asian band performing Abba songs and they were really good.
Shore Excursions3
Cannes we uses the tender and a map to get around ourselves, Pisa and Florence we had excellent guide and local guide. Lunch provided at a great restaurant - have to say it was the best food I saw all week. Rome the tour was short and not as good but ther was loads to see, we used an open topped tour bus.No meal provided
Staff4
Our head waiter and stateroom attendant were both faultless. The waiter provided us with fresh veg which were never served (unless you call 2 slices of carrots and 1 sprig broccili a serving)
Children's Facilitiesn/a
Onboard Activities5
Loads to do
Cabins5
Very comfortable, loads of storage no tea making facilities but I see this is now on the new ship. We took our own kettle which our attendant approved.
