FIRST CRUISE LAST CRUISE - we are booked for a week long cruise this Monday on the Artemis and just received a letter today advising us that as one of the engines is not working that we have lost 1.5 days ashore. Vigo and Brest. P & O have given £100 per person on board spend by way of compensation as a gesture of goodwill. We are bitterly disappointed as we had planned all of our days ashore had booked tickets for the Guggenheim, P & O say we can get the money back for this but it is a hassle as we have to fax our ticket to them and request it. This does not seem very fair as it wont cost them £100 as we will have no choice but to spend it on board, and it seems that you do not have the option to cancel as they say they are entitled to make these changes. What do you all think?
