Just returned from cruise on Oceana to Norwegian Fjords - absolutely fantastic! Apprehensive (see previous messages) on going on my own and being disabled but it was great. Met some nice people and everyone onboard very helpful -enjoyed shore excursions and all in all great success. Thank you to all the folk who gave me advice before I left. Only grizzle was that I was not allowed to take my little electric scooter on board as I was travelling without an 'escort' (!) and couldn't have a disabled cabin, again because I didn't have an 'escort'. Made life a bit tiring at times but I managed. First P & O cruise but have done many others and will certainly be travelling with them again. Fantastic Captain - Hamish Reid- his attitude and the fact that he was very visibe around the ship and his humour probably made the whole ship's mood good with passengers and ship's officers. Interesting to have a ship's Captain who is a Scottish sheep farmer!
